Young Girl on the Loose

She’s a young girl,
Barely seventeen,
All bright eyed
And bushy tailed,
Dangerously attractive
With a nervous shyness
That is not as innocent
As it might seem.
She’s eager to take on
The world,
Excited about the life
She intends to live,
And anxious
To be a woman.
She’s fascinated
With men,
But like a kid
In a candy store,
She is taken by
The endless variety,
Young and old,
Rich and poor,
Talented and otherwise
For her to choose from.
She’s a seductress,
Sassy and sweet,
And I smile knowingly,
Entertained by the show.
