An End to Gossip

As the confidant
And right hand man
To the president
Of the company,
He was continuously
Told gossip
About the rest of the employees
Which he really didn’t
Need or want to hear.
It bothered him a lot,
And he was forced
To confront his boss
On that issue
Even though
It could have
Cost him his job.
His courage earned him
The respect of his boss,
And put a stop
To all the gossip.
Sometimes all we have to do
Is simply ask.
