Zen Limbo

He observes life
Without emotion,
Living as if he is
On the outside
Looking in,
As if it is not
Happening to him,
Or as if
He has no concern
For how it turns out.
He is in
Suspended animation,
Not participating
Or being at cause
In anything
That happens,
Present in body,
But reacting as if
He isn’t there.
