They happen to be,
Have a lot to teach us
About business,
About people, about ethics,
Trust and integrity,
The principles of life
And most of all,
About ourselves.
Anyone who is unwilling
To pay the tuition
Might as well not even try,
For we will all
Make many mistakes
And very few things
Will not work out
Exactly as we planned.
We must continually adjust
The things we do
And the ways we do them
Until we find a way
That actually works,
And even then,
We will still need to change
In order to grow.
