I learned to relish
The challenge
Of matching wits with
Multi-thousand piece
Picture puzzles
As a child.
I developed the ability
To pick out
Edge pieces at a glance,
And to spot
The slightest similarity
Of color, pattern
Or shape
Between pieces.
Some of my
Happiest recollections
Are of the hours I spent
Quietly solving
Those puzzles
As a child,
And I still enjoy them
Even to this day.
