Prerequisits of a Miracle

What if your life
Wasn’t about
Fixing either of us,
And you had
No one to battle,
Least of all yourself,
And you had nothing
To prove
Or disapprove?
What if things
Were to happen
Without rhyme
Or reason,
Beyond expectation,
Or explainable
Cause and effect,
And luck could not
Be implicated?
What if coincidence
Could be ruled out,
And religion
Or spirituality
Were not involved?
If reality occurred
As a blessing,
And not a curse,
Might you then
Be able to
Live in peace
And recognize
A miracle
When it occurred?
