Mental Friction

It’s amazing
How smooth
Life tends to flow
When my brain
Isn’t battling
Against doing
Whatever has
To be done.
Work is effortless
Without
It’s subterfuge,
In fact,
It doesn’t even
Seem like
Work at all.
The only hard part
Of anything I do
Is to overcome
The mental friction
My brain generates.
Everything else
Is easy.
