Here in Los Angeles,
We are probably home
Of more drama queens
Of one kind or another
Than any other place on earth.
Every person
Has an elaborate narrative,
A personal saga,
They love to tell the world,
Only here in the land
Of Hollywood stars and starlets,
We tend to have
Tales of epic proportions,
Full of Technicolor madness
And wild dramatizations.
Some of our stories
May be worthy
Of an Academy Award,
And we have them
For every issue in our lives.
