Hide and Seek

I’ve searched high,
I’ve search low,
And I must have scanned
Ten-thousand faces
Looking for the one
Whom I believe
Is meant for me,
But who she is
And where she goes,
I don’t know.
Is she here,
Or is she there,
Or is she playing
A complex game
Of hide and seek?
I don’t know!
Maybe I should
Just tag someone
And say,
“Your it!”
