A Bouyant Soul

He is a gentle,
Easy going spirit,
With a ready smile,
And an endearing
Ability to laugh
At himself
And the challenges
He encounters.
Nothing seems
To get him down,
Though I am sure
He has had
Just as many
Heartaches
And heartbreaks
As any of
The rest of us.
He is a bit
Of a philosopher,
Prone to dropping
Nuggets of wisdom
Picked up
Somewhere
Along the way,
But his most
Noteworthy attribute
Is the contentment
He radiates
For who he is
And his lot in life.
