The Life I am Committed to Live

I am committed to
Living a life I love,
One full of
Passion and purpose
Where each day
Is a distinct adventure.
In the course of that life
I will take many risks,
Face many challenges,
And know a multitude of triumphs,
Large and small.
I will test the limits
Of what appears to be possible,
Daring to be different,
Boldly asserting my right
To be who I am.
I will learn to appreciate
Beauty in all its forms,
And to find it at every turn.
I will tear down the barriers
Isolating me from others,
And will speak my truth,

So that we may share
An intimate bond.
