More loudly
Than the words

And respect for others,
No matter their apparent
Rank or stature,
His humble willingness
To consider
Alternate points of view,
And his dedication
To serving and
Contributing to others.
They come across
As an attitude
That asks, “What can I
Do for you?”
Not “What can you
Do for me?
Most of all, they are
The telltale signs
Of a person
Who genuinely cares,
And wishes the best
For the world around him.
