Looking Back

I have few regrets, if any,
Over the life I have lived.
I have had the opportunity
To travel to distant places,
To live in foreign countries,
To know people
Of practically every race,
Religion and creed,
To be many different things
From an engineer
To a personal coach
And a poet.
I have loved and lost
And loved again.
I have taken on projects,
Sometimes monumental things.
I have seen them soar
And I have seen them flop.
I have made many friends,
Met some outrageous characters,
Even became something
Of a character myself.
It has been an incredible life
I have lived so far,
And I firmly believe
I have a lot more life to live.
