Imaginative Thread

The reflections I write
Are created
In no particular
Sequence.
I don’t even know
When I sit down
With the intention
Of writing,
What will pop out next
Or where
The inspiration
Will come from.
All I know is that
When I group
A batch of assorted
Narratives,
I’m always able to find
An imaginative thread
That ties them together
In some logical order
So that collectively,
They tell a story.
